The Problem
A four-year-long chapter brand falls apart when every officer rebuilds it from scratch.
Greek-life branding lives in the gap between volunteer designers, fast turnarounds, and non-designer executives translating ideas. Without a system, every semester drifts visually, and the chapter's reputation drifts with it.
Legacy vs modern aesthetic
Balancing traditional fraternity visual language with a modern, designed-for-2024+ sensibility recruits actually respond to.
Volume on volunteer time
Fast turnarounds during recruitment and events while keeping consistent quality across social, print, and merch.
Translating non-designer ideas
A critical part of the role was turning exec-board ideas into effective visuals, often within tight budget constraints.
02
The Approach
Treat the chapter like a brand with a four-year run, not a string of one-off flyers. Build a reusable system so future PR officers inherit a kit instead of starting from scratch every semester.
- 01
Promotional graphics at speed
Designed and executed promotional graphics for recruitment, social events, and philanthropy campaigns on fraternity-fast timelines.
- 02
Apparel and merch
Custom apparel and merchandise, seasonal drops and limited-run event pieces, produced end-to-end.
- 03
Exec-board collaboration
Aligned messaging with chapter goals by working directly with the executive board on campaign objectives.
- 04
Reusable brand kit
Built a full brand kit and template system so future Public Relations Officers inherit infrastructure, not chaos.
- 05
Event photography + media
Captured and edited event photography and handled the post-event media rollout.

Outcome
The volume and variety of content I developed went far beyond what could fit on one page. But every piece played a role in building a more unified, professional, and engaging presence for the chapter, both online and on campus.
